Triller Fight Club: Sergey Kovalev vs. Tervel Pulev fight preview
The two time world heavyweight title challenger Kubrat will be taking on American Jerry Forrest who will make his way to the ring with a record of 26 wins, 4 loses and 2 draws, with 20 of those wins by knockout. Kubrat Pulev steps into the ring with a record of 28 wins, 2 loses and 0 draws, 14 of those wins coming by way of knockout. From the stats it is clearly a sign that Forrest having a large advantage in power over Pulev, boosting at 77% knock out percentage over Pulev’s 50%.
Pulev In his last fight, lost to Anthony Joshua on 12th December 2020 by knockout in the 9th round in their WBA Super World Heavyweight, WBO World Heavyweight and IBF World Heavyweight championship fight at Wembley Arena, London, United Kingdom.
Jerry Forrest fought difficult against ranked challenger Michael Hunter in December of last year, and the fight ended in a draw. Prior to that, Forrest fought boxer Zhilei Zhang and came back from the canvas to get a draw against him. The Louisiana native who throws southpaw seems to have found his rhythm and is exceeding everyone’s expectations with his performance. Forrest has been very busy, and I have no doubt that he will be able to perform well under pressure.

Pulev is the more experienced fighter, has a better pedigree, and has a longer career; nonetheless, he chose to face inferior competition knowing that he had a shot at fighting Joshua. After he obtained it, he fought like a guy who was about to pay out his winnings. Pulev is the more skilled technically on paper, but he is rusty and doesn’t have the punching power to fall back on if Forrest begins getting harsh with him. If this fight goes the distance, Forrest will win by unanimous decision. If Forrest had been victorious in his last fight against Hunter, he would have been the favorite in their rematch on Saturday.
There is a lot about this situation that works in favor of Forrest, and we are certain that he will bring more to the table than what current iteration of Pulev is capable of managing. We think that Forrest will be able to pull off the upset and win.
