Europe hold a slender 6½-5½ lead in the Solheim Cup after the United States fought back to win three of Sunday’s foursomes in Ohio.
At one point Europe led in every one of the foursomes.
And Mel Reid and Leona Maguire extended the visitors’ lead with an emphatic 5&4 win over Nelly Korda and Ally Ewing.
But Danielle Kang and Austin Ernst beat Georgia Hall and Madelene Sagstrom by a hole and the United States also came back to win the other two matches.
Lexi Thompson’s long birdie putt on the 17th sealed a 2&1 victory for her and Brittany Altomare against Charley Hull and Emily Kristine Pedersen.
And Lizette Salas and Jennifer Kupcho won four consecutive holes after trailing to wrap up their match on the 17th.
